Chateau Leidigh Wins Gold Medal, Other Awards

Chateau Leidigh, California's Most Exclusive Estate Winery®, is pleased to announce that its 2004 Estate Claret recently won a Gold Medal at The Indy International Wine Competition held in conjunction with the Indiana State Fair.  The Indy is billed as the largest international wine competition held in the United States.  Out of 2,558 commercial wines entered, just 9% received Gold Medal awards. In addition, at the same competition, Chateau Leidigh's first-ever estate “port-style” wine won a Silver Medal.  This wine competed against Port wines from Portugal, including 10-year-old vintage Port from a major port-producer.

Also, our 2003 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Old Vines, Casalina Family Vineyard garnered its third medal in three competitions.  It won a Silver Medal in the Florida International Wine Competition and in addition, the National Women's Wine Competition all-female judging panel found it to be a “Wine Women Want!”
